Turkey has faced the Kurdish issue many times in the 102 year history of the republic. Now, however, a new possibility for peace is being discussed between Turkey and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Fehim Işık has dedicated his life to journalism. The 63-year-old writer and photographer has lived through three exiles. Living in a small Flemish town in Belgium, he hopes to go back to his hometown, family and friends.
