In 12 months, the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has recorded at least 138 journalists’ deaths during the course of the war in Gaza. Of these, 127 were Palestinians.

Since Hamas launched its Al Aqsa Flood operation on Israel on October 7, 2023, causing thousands of civilian deaths on both sides, at least 33 Palestinian journalists and media workers have been killed.

The AL FANFARDJÂTI band was born from a collaboration between the Al Kamandjâti association and several Belgian cultural entities. The band is made up of around a hundred young Palestinian musicians.

During this period of weekly confrontations and tension on the borders, around 326 Gaza Strip residents were killed, including two journalists, and 173 journalists were injured.
